Welcome to the inner workings of a scorpion mind - our thoughts and our dreams  .  .  .

Sundays

It is Sunday again and I feel the need for homeward comfort and connection. It is that time to lay heavy burdens aside and relax.  I can near taste the basil herb mushroom and tomato drowned sauce jaded with carrot rounds garlic clove and fine chopped onions severed with thick head of cheese and a dash of fresh pepper corns. I am sure you have your food that makes you no matter how near or far think of home and sigh. There are many things that surprisingly make me think of home but most importantly for me it pasta and the casual dinning among friends, warmth of fire light or candles adds to the time in soft surroundings like twilight.

Often as adventures draw closes to Sunday we would sit a spell under stars, rain ponchos and even snow eating what provision were left some times high above on peaked hills. Where ever we could find space the task three fold One to lighten the burden of our packs and secondly to stretch the day out in simple company while our souls journey homeward.  When provisions run low and our spirits dropped we could sit for hours and talk; ordering food for each other from France and Germany and every restaurant we had ever been. Finally the dinner would serve as a distraction from the tasks at hand that of watch the laundry spin and dry in endless cycles as our mind drifts where it may.

For Sunday is also Laundry Day.

The Scorpio is an eternally intriguing creature who, like the sphinx, seems to know and guard the riddle of life and death.  They either fascinate or frighten all of the opposite sex they meet.  They are lusty, magnetic, and endowed with mysterious powers.  They can move heaven or hell with a single look.  Nobody could ask more than they offer.

Scorpio women are hard to live with for most.  They expect you to see them exactly as they see the world and most of us just don't do that.  But don't despair, if you and a Scorpio hook up for life, you will have a wonderful adventure and the kind of love and devotion that many can only dream about.
