Welcome to the inner workings of a scorpion mind - our thoughts and our dreams . . . |
|
I used to be afraid of the dark First my terror Everything came to life; vague shadows became monsters fright Fear griped heart as I claw in sleepless nights alone and out of sight
Later as the grey world swallowed my sight I would awaken from pitch dark dreams in frightful screams Fearing I would never see again There alone I never came home
Now the darkness is my friend it covers up where my tears have been Will it always be like this? As I wake up alone at night
